What is the equipment swap? The equipment swap is for people to drop off gear that is still of a usable quality in exchange for other gear or as a donation. It's a great way to keep gear out of landfills and keep up with growing kids.
What kind of equipment / uniform is required to play? MSC will provide a shirt for each player. Players are required to provide their own shorts, socks, shin pads and cleats. Cleats and shinpads are are mandatory safety gear and required to play. Any players without cleats or shinpads will not be allowed on the field but are welcome to cheer on their friends from the sidelines. There is an expetion for the U5 catagory on cleats. The standard soccer uniform is black sports shorts. For MSC any shorts will be allowed. Special soccer specific socks designed to go over shinpads can be purchased from most sports stores such as Canadian tire or Sportscheck. Any color will do.
When will I get my shirt / jersey? Shirt are usually given out during the first few games.
